I am very skeptical of startups like this that claim to be exceptionally virtuous and yet offer very little transparency into their actual business model. Are you, or are you not developing a GMO fungus? Is your plan to grow hundreds of millions of tonnes of fungal biomass? Because that is what it sounds like. You are going to need billions of tonnes of biomass to even make a dent in atmospheric CO2 concentrations.
You are planning to radially transform the soil biome and make intellectual property claims on the soil itself. It seems very likely that the product you are developing will lead to transgenic contamination and be a threat to global food security.
I know Jamila ever since she was studying her BA in Dubai.. in fact we used to live together. I used to see how hardworking she was, working full time jobs and studying till early morning before her exams. She is a person who never stops dreaming and working. I am so proud of her and so happy that she is getting recognised and appreciated. To a girl that will always pursue her dream with excellence ♥️ I salute you !!
